Yes. By mutual agreement I fervently believe that two individuals can choose to trust, cherish, and hold eachother more valuable than themselves in exchange for comfort, security, and emotional support. A high level of compromise and communication should be exercised so that the needs of both parties are met. Both persons should also actively foster their personal sense of selflessness, specifically by seeking to serve, consider, and impress their partner. Consistent subjection of value, appreciation, and contentment is key as well. Provided both parties stay true to the agreement, love will manifest in time.

we don't talk about it much but it's there. the way his friends look at me since i've been floating around for over a month now. the way he gets out of the car to kiss me goodbye. 'i'll be right by to scoop you up.' but it's a slow moving thing. i don't get to see him as much as i would like; i'm pretty withdrawn around him. he makes me grin. my heart doesn't flop over for him, it jumps up and down. i never liked the feeling of my feet over my head anyways.

i should know better than to put things into words dumped on my face not even 24 hours later; i guess he wants his ankles above his head.
