I recently discovered that Skite A, whom I really liked, is the same person as Skite B, whom I also really liked. And while my liking for the individual behind these names has not diminished because of this revelation, I still feel somewhat disappointed by the discovery. I don't know why. Isn't that dumb? Why should I feel disappointed? And yet I do. Now when I read the words of Skite A or B, I feel a vague sense of dissatisfaction. I am annoyed with myself for feeling dissatisfied but nevertheless dissatisfaction persists. Blather has evoked a wide range of sentiments in me but this is a new one. For the record, this has happened before, but without ensuant dissatisfaction. Hmmmm. I am just so mysterious.
