nomme inside a car that was heading in the direction of Nomme's town but is now turning left and right and left and right in an unspecified direction at a moderate speed on unfamiliar back country roads.
having ingested the purple pill the hitchhiker gave you, you have begun to become aware of its effects on your senses. you realize you cannot remember your middle name or what colour your toothbrush is.
your driving ability is somewhat diminished, and you are finding it more and more difficult to make sense of where you are being directed to go or where you are coming from, as you swerve down the winding dirt roads.
the lack of noticeable road signs and the pitch black night do not help you to determine whether or not you have in fact passed by that same large boulder twice or thrice in the past 10 minutes.
when you look to your right you can see that the hitchhiker in the passenger seat next to you is ironing out crumpled $100 bills between his calloused palms and every few moments he shifts his head which makes you wonder if he is looking at you for some reason.
gazing ahead towards the approaching horizon a light appears first faintly but grows brighter to your eyes as you drive closer it glows and breaks into a set of lamps lighting the outside surface of an otherwise dark and unsuspecting looking structure.
surrounding the building, there is a grass field radiating a distance until it is engulfed by dark woods.
this place appears to be an airport of some sort, judging by the two small planes that you see land on the grass airstrip, as you continue to drive closer at a reduced speed through the entrance gate.
the hitchhiker signals for you to stop the car.
