I haven’t seen many films with so many stunning scenes although another Japanese film I saw recently springs to mind. It’s a film that you simply can’t afford to leave lying around without watching it … I hope you taking note Mr B. Kitano! 031229 ... misstree absolutely incredible movie... a few vague aspects of lord_of_the_flies, unbelievable amounts of creative violence, hot little asian school girls, though for some reason i was thinking it was korean rather than japanese... and despite all the wonderful hallmarks of great crappy movies, it was actually a great good movie... definitely one worth finding. 031230 ... Habitual Perceiver #314 The film is japanese but the most common DVD available to the west is the Korean version ... don't know why ... and yeah i agree misstree it's a film whose plot should make it trashy but it's got something about it that will make you think after seeing it and it's definitely worth another viewing. I've found that with a lot of asian action films ... there is an unexpected meaning to them unlike most of american or european action films.
