My boyfriend (who is really being facaetious and isn't a sexist pig but like to get me all riled up) and I were talking and I was complaining that there are very few super heros who are captains - which is the point I meant to stop at but then I realised that even of those few (and only Captain America and Captain Planet spring to mind) none of them are femlae! And for some reason, the title "captain", in my mind anyway, doesn't really seem like the sort of name that would be conferred upon a female. I was bemoaning this and he said (trying to be annoying)(and silly) "That's becasue girls can't be captains!" well. let me tell YOU...I walloped him GOOD with a pillow for that! A few days later, I was talking to my good friend Ross (one of my oldest friends, known him since the first day of high school, same lenght of time as all my close friends but off topic! off topic! warning warning warning!! Blaaaaaaaaat blaaaaaaaaat) at college at telling him this story. I tried to explain why Quentin was wrong (Ross and QUentin like to gang up on me. Teegan, Ross's girlfriend, is also my best friend, so we have to have a united front sometimes and --blaaaaaaaaaaaaaat blaaaaaaaaaaaaaat....right right moving on)) but I got rather convoluted. He snorted something about "Captain Logic, hah ha ha..." I of course seized on that immediatly. So WHAT if my reasoning is usually "because. I win! Ha ha ha ha ha!!!" ??? so WHAT if, in complete contrast to my concrete squential way of dealing with problems, I enjoy a good non sequitor every now and then...or now and now...and then and then... So pbbbbbbttthh to them. Ross has decided to become "REAL LOGIC", Captain Logic's arch nemises. And QUentin still says girls can't be captains. I'll get them.
