i wonder if the majority of our genotypes, the deep blood ones, beneath the skin, not yet accounting for the phenotypes vary at the same rate in most populations and the variations are common to the species. That is if they vary approximately at the same rate across populations as well. These would be genes for blood type, immune systems, bone densities, perhaps shyness etc.) If this was the majority of the differences between individuals, then race would be a less significant line to draw then most people assume it. It would appear more of a social cultural function, emphasizing exactly that: culture. Our differences would be the recent development, the new kid on the block in terms of history, and already a part of history in terms of how small the world is getting, and how much variety is being introduced into even the most traditionally homogenous populations. If the majority of differences are the common traits, and the variance is about the same across cultures, it would be possible for a person to have more in common genetically with foreigners. Although this is perhaps negligibly less probable. Even if the starkest genetic differences are in populations and not what we call the major "races" This is a victory for individualism because there are far too many world populations to meaningfully break up or categorize. I love pseudo-science. It's common sense i abhor. At the gym i use all the ab machines...I'm a real abhor. haha...i bet you didn't expect that...from a carthaginian.

The fact that all human races can interbreed without producing "Mules", (Sterile offspring)should be clear enough evidence that we are all Much closer to being the same. All the other "Differences" are superficial.

well no no, i wasn't saying at all that we were a different species. but in other forms of life, they use subspecies as a classification, and it just doesn't make sense the way people use broad racial categories as if they mean anything useful or anything that stark
