my_corner_of_the_institution kill rhythm ok guys. i know most of you dont want to read what i have to say. but im gonna write it anyway. first, i want to talk about a quote i hear a little too often. im sure most of you have heard this one: "the heart does heal, and you will love again. but when you do, you will swear that you have never loved like this before" ok, i buy that. the first time it goes into effect. some may say, well what if you fall in love when you are 17? then what? well, i think that you are extremely unlucky if it doesnt work out. because then you think, man my life is over, i will never love anyone ever again. ill never meet anyone, blah blah. well, face it kids. youre 17 and you have lots of life ahead of you. you will meet someone new, and most likely find someone who you will spend the rest of your life with. maybe right away, maybe not. probably not. and thats where the new love comes in. ok, you meet someone else, and you love them. i believe it. but then, it happens again. and again. and again. if it gets to that point, im not sure if it was ever REAL love. or maybe it was at first, but then your idea of love deteriorated with the losses you encountered. and you SAY its love, but you know it is not. thats what i think. im sure that you will love again after a loss. but in some cases, the first love you ever had is so powerful, that it can never be overshadowed. ok, you marry someone else. and you DO love them. but im sure you will never, ever forget the person who first stole your heart away from you. and gave it back to you in a few different pieces. i know i wont... or maybe im wrong about this whole thing ;) 020614 ...
