The Prisoner's Dilemma was discovered in 1950 by Melvin Drescher and Merrill Flood, who both worked at the RAND Corporation. Albert W. Tucker gave it its name and wrote the first article about it. It's since been well-studied in philosophy, game theory, and many other fields, because not only is it an intriguing problem, it has many parallels and applications in everyday life. i had a dream that i was the best at this game that was a cross between simcity and final fantasy. all that i remember was that to change between main characters you had to eat the current character. i wish i remembered more of the game. it was really fun. i could sell it to somebody. but i guess thats life...
