don't_forget_to_play
Alden I suppose Ellen said it first, but it's true, the problem with the world today is that after we grow up, we all forget to play. Sometimes, often actually, my inner child will get restless and I'll find myself driven by a sudden urge to skip stones or climb a tree or just run in a straight line for no real reason. Why do I squash these desires? Why not indulge them? What's the harm in a little simple joy every day? Good lord, it's not as if I'm old and dignified or anything, and if dignity means no fun, then screw it, who needs pride anyhow? 030126

one for the road but when you are indulging that child of yours having fun care free most people like to try to bring you back to where you are and tell you to act your age. Some people it looks like would like to forget they ever were a child and not want to let anybody else remember that they were one also. I however like to play as much as possiable because when i was growing up It was incouraged to have fun no matter what your age. the one thing that sticks with me is words my minister liked to use " when I grow up i want to retire" 030127
