anticipation.... I am stuck at the office waitng patiently for my lunch hour to come so I can get this CD. Have been looking forward to it since Talib gave us his "manifesto" back in 1998. Most people paid attention to Mos, I was impressed by Kweli's lyrical content. He eluded to books my father made me read in grammar school. Spoke of unity. Wasn't as polished or confident as his partner, but he still had a fan in me. ...sick anticipation... It's only 11:34A CST. Why am I worrying myself? I will spend the next hour actually doing work, yeah, that will get my mind off of it... yeah right.

may favourite is the last track - for women. the original, four women, is probably my favourite nina simone song ever and i am amazed by the way he uses virtually all her lyrics, and then a whole heap of his own and express' a profound respect for women. i'll say it again, the man is amazing and he is my favourite emcee ever...
