blueberries for you there is this restaurant along the sea in southern maine. we've been there summers to eat rock lobster and lick the drawn butter from happy fingers.

tradition has it for the past eleven years, satisfied customers tack a portion of their tip to the wooden ceiling, at least to what room still remains. you can look up and see dollars, fives, and tens staring down at you. (fyn said he saw a twenty once)

recent news from a charity benefiting the victims of the world trade center tragedy states all the bills were removed from the ceiling and donated to the fund, some $12,ooo.oo!

right on.

unhinged when my dad was filling the boot with the local he works for a few months back for the victim's fund he stopped a trucker and the trucker said "hey i got a lot of paper work to do; how bout i park my truck and you collect from all the people that get backed up behind me. i'll match the highest donation." my dad came back waving a fifty chuckling and the guy said "hey i didn't think anyone would give that much but all i can give you is a 20" a few months ago with all the talk of heroism it was nice to know that some trucker in northeastern ohio did what he could too. 011204
