I would like to be a pagan. I just don't know enough about it, and all the information about it seems wrong. Surely the whole idea is to respect Earth, and give reason for Earth to respect you. Or is that not paganism? In fact, the word 'pagan' was coined by the romans during the occupation of England, where anybody who didn't belive in Christianity, or had other, native beliefs was called a pagan, hence, modern paganism has elemnets of celtic, druid and other beliefs.

are you a country-dweller or city-dweller, in your heart of hearts and head of heads? me? crop goddesses and river spirits don't do much. but beware the wrath of the great and mighty parking dieties... is there a term for people like me? (ahem.) miscellaneous_pagan just doesn't seem at all right these days...

i met a pagan at the bookstore. books on buddhism and paganism are in the same alcove at the store i met him at. he was some keeper of some kind of light and said he felt like killing igornant people because they came to him asking for it....he said he knew it was wrong so he didn't do it but he was having trouble controlling his impulses. that's a lot to tell someone you bumped into in the bookstore because her religious books are next to your religious books. we scared a lot of people in the bookstore that day. personally, i think he was a schizo pagan. literally schizo.
