edward_scissorhands CheapVodka damn good movie 011106 ... Sonya I remember seeing this movie for the first time when I was 8 years old I think. What really drew me to the film itself was the setting. The whole thing takes place in this imaginative and seemingly perfect neighborhood. I think everyone feels like Edward at some point in their lives. We feel like freaks because of our differences. I still think about this movie even though it's been years since I've seen it. Johnny Depp & Winona Ryder really gave their characters something more. I think my favorite scene is probably when Edward is carving that ice sculpture in the front yard and Ryder's character (I forget her name) is twirling in the ice flakes. I always wished that I could do the same thing. Some people think this movie is too far fetched and imaginative to be taken seriously but I think we need a little whimsy in our lives.
