killed the cat Alright, so there's this guy and we'll call him Al and he's pretty weird, but he's a decent guy. He's nice and funny and just... unique is the correct term. His hair is long, he wears a lot of black and he has a glow-in-the-dark ring on each finger (those aren't what makes him weird, they're just some of his defining physical qualities). And all he wants is a little love, but nobody understands him because he's strange.

He likes this girl, Beth. Beth says that for them to just "hang out more" (not even go out!), Al will have to cut his hair, wear brighter colors and remove the rings. Beth is told that it's wrong to try to change people and her response is: "Deep down inside I know it's wrong to change people...I don't care"

So then Beth is dateless for prom and someone suggests to her that she should ask Al because he'll say yes. She just says that she positively CANNOT go with Al and then proceeds to ask 7 other guys, all of which say no. Then she asks Al, who of course, says yes, because all he wants is some love.

Is it wrong to call Beth a raging bitch to her face?

vituperus Aesop offers this advice (in allegory):

A Bitch, ready to whelp, earnestly begged a shepherd for a place where she might litter. When her request was granted, she besought permission to rear her puppies in the same spot. The shepherd again consented. But at last the Bitch, protected by the bodyguard of her Whelps, who had now grown up and were able to defend themselves, asserted her exclusive right to the place and would not permit the shepherd to approach.

minnesota_chris so you date Al. Beth is kinda mean, and she probably knows it. And she probably doesn't care what you think about her. 040503
