big_ticket_ice_cream ever dumbening since i have no interest in buying a lexus—okay, so that is somewhat disingenuous, i would take one maybe if i could budget it easily—i don't mind my extravagant purchases being of the sugar and cream in a frozen churned fashion. tonight i went with my likely future roommate to bi-rite on 18th. that place is crazy good (as is ici on college). and it just makes me so happy that people craft things with such passion (of course knowing that people like me will consume them with equal passion). the flavor i had tonight sent me into a particularly ecstatic space. it was ginger and caramel in vanilla. crazy crazy good. once the two flavors hit my tongue together i just knew. ginger and caramel combined had never crossed my synapses as possible; now i know. i'm sure the big boys will eventually try it and it will be decent (maybe), but i'm glad i found it at bi-rite. the first will forever be etched as the best. and damn the three dollar price tag.
