Turquoise blue, never ending like an ocean, that you can't see through. Butter milk skies Looks so warm But it's cold in disguise. Hey, take a picture, It lasts longer. The moon was here. Just a silver sliver That decided to disapear. Just a piece of blank sky. That as I watched, Went drifting by. I miss you now But refuse to cry. As I'm staring at the wonders Of a brilliant, fading sky. Hot, fire orange, burning Against an ice of clor melting As the world keeps on turning. And the day has gone From white light to black dark Just as qucickly as it had come. I've got my paper and pen, They've got their camera and film Who capture's the better image then? Who can capture nature, but this natural world? Bursting as it is at the seams How much more can it hold? Before it dies away I use it for inspiration, but I wonder How much does it charge, and who do I have to pay? Now the light, it begins to fade The clouds like black smoke Left in a haze From the sun's flame orange rays And as I head back inside So fly by the days It's all over now. And yet I close my eyes, impressed in my mind I see you, At Sunset
