The Words of Jesus of Nazareth

Those that are healthy do not need a doctor; but those that are ill do.
You should understand this: I desire mercy, not sacrifice. For I have not come to call the righteous, but the sinners to repentance. Shouldn't the sick in body, whom the devil has bound, be set free?
Is it easier to say, "Your sins are forgiven," or, "Rise and be healed"?
That you might know beyond the shadow of a doubt that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins, I say to the sick: "Rise Up! Be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven. Go your way; as you have believed, so will you receive. Your faith has made you well!"
What shepherd, having one hundred sheep and losing one, wouldn't leave the ninety-nine safely grazing, and go in search of the one that was lost? When the lost sheep was found, wouldn't he lay it across his shoulders, his heart full of gladness? On the way home he would call out to his friends and neighbours, saying: "Rejoice with me. I have found my lost sheep."
I tell you this truth: there is more joy in heaven over one who repents, than over ninety-nine persons who need to repentance.
Who among you, having ten pieces of silver and losing one piece, does not light a candle, and sweep the house, and search diligently until it is found?
When at last you have found it, you call your friends and neighbours together, saying: Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece that was lost.
Likewise, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over even one sinner that repents.
