so i was thinking of dying my hair green, or blue, or orange but then i considered that little old ladies might get slightly freaked out by a tall guy with a green afro in an army jacket sauntering into the ladies' room y'think?

i think you already know better than to compromise a funkalicious hair color for the sake of an old lady or two. in fact, that may make it all the more tempting. i find that when i look the oddest is usually when i'm the nicest to random strangers. i figure that maybe they'll be less likely to turn their nose up at the next slightly freaky person they meet.

on an unrelated topic http://nb.cbc.ca/regional/servlet/View?filename=nb_hockeygirls20041008 In Canada, a coed hockey team of 14 year olds can continue to use the same locker room together. Everyone wears shorts and the women wear shirts. If the women want a shower, they use the locker room first. It mattered to the young women because so much team building and coaching happens in the locker room. I think that's really cool.
