fork and knife in hand tines break through the surface, squeezing some of the juices from the steak as they press inward, press the knife down, serrations pulled to and fro revealing the seared cross section with the filament of pink/red through the middleto at least partially satisfy that ancient and usually vestigial taste_for_blood

i have switched from prefering burned-to-a-crisp steak to prefering blood-oozing goodness steak. i think it's because we now buy our meat directly from the butcher, it's cheaper and tastier, plus I know it's fresh. had a rare steak the otherday. better than drugs.

triple "A" Alberta beef, I apolgize beforehand my US BlatherCompratriats, but I have a bias built in my heritage, Alberta beef is the far better choice when you begin to dine on a bloody_feast, aged 28 days and soaked in a lemon, soya sauce and garlic vinigrette. My stomach and colon are in complete agreement, when smoked over the barbeque. .

We can, but rarely do when we are travelling over the foothills and foaming at the mouth. . still, meat tastes so good when it is dripping with blood. .

a succulent T bone steak, just overflowing with juices and tastes. my boyfriend will only eat meat burnt to a crisp. i keep telling him that medium rare is the way forwards, but he likes his meat well-dead. What sacrilege.
