(so stop calling yourself that.) valentines day is an overrated day that needy people pass off as a holiday. to others, its just another day, really. tonight, someone was in my seat at my favorite restaurant, however. they paid in advance with a credit card to reserve it. we were actually at a meeting downtown and hungry afterward, while also needing a quiet_place to talk about a few urgent issues. and_so...instead, we ate at the bar next to some asshole who was drunkenly laughing several decibels above acceptable in an effort to impress his red sweater-wearing date. fuck_valentine's_day its just another day for florists and hallmark to remind everyone that wants to be in love that they're not...and also to remind those who are that love is really fucking hard, and a goddamn card, flower, or dinner doesn't make a bit of difference in the grand scheme of things. ahem...i'm just sayin' does that opinion make me an asshole? 110214 ... unhinged .
