Gold with patches of black that seemed much larger when she was much smaller. She pulled me from the hole_in_my_life, singlepawedly, by no more difficult an action than nervously gnawing on my fingers. It meant nothing to her at the time, but the world to me for all time. Currently resides as empress over all she surveys. see also: Quackor, Shqueekyd'ball

i always wished i could be as wonderful as she. i always secretly hoped that possibly i could remember and become like her. now however, i am just content with loving her from afar...

no way! don't you realise what would have happened if she had the Ring?! it would mean destruction for all of lothlorien. she showed great strength of character in her refusal of it. I'll probably use her as an illustrative example in my paper on sources of evil in lotr and the silmarillion. come on, people, don't upset me this way!

tedious, maybe. but it's the old testament of the whole thing. even tolkien himself said neither lotr nor silmarillion made sense without the other. I think this class of mine has made me way too involved, but if you ask me, it's just as believable as the bible, and if I were to choose, I'd easily take tolkien's world history over god's. I won't get into what tolkien would have to say to that given his devout christian beliefs, but I'm sure that might offend and disappoint him a bit.
