cephalopod someone There's an octopus in my freezer right now. My uncle caught it during the summer, and he was going to eat it with yellow sauce. My little cousin, his daughter, kept calling it a jellyfish. She's four now. He gave it to me eventually because his wife was sick of looking at it everytime she opened up the fridge. It's got these big, frozen, collapsed dead fish-eyes that look like tarnished quarters. They kind of stare at you. The thing's only about the size of my fist. I cut my index finger open on the end of a tentacle while I was packing it away in the ice. Never knew octopi could be sharp... Now it's just sitting there. I think I'll go cook it.
