dafremen Well we finally passed a same-sex marriage bill! Yay! I mean we did have to call it the "Respect For Marriage Act" and half-lie about the legal status of interracial marriages in this country, but hey! whatever means justify the ends, (if you see what I mean. Lies are as good as truths in politics.)

Can you imagine the look on all of those dumb Republicans faces when they were finally tricked into either voting for the legislation, or being called racists because they "oppose protections for interracial couples"? Or how about their political opponents accusing them of opposing "Respect For Marriage"?

Brilliant! So glad we were finally able to reach a consensus.

"Interracial marriage in the United States has been fully legal in all U.S. states since the 1967 Supreme Court decision that deemed anti-miscegenation state laws unconstitutional (via the 14th Amendment adopted in 1868) with many states choosing to legalize interracial marriage at much earlier dates." - Wikipedia
dafremen "While serving in the U.S. Navy, Dan faced discrimination due to not only his race but also his sexuality. After his service, he tried to dull his negative feelings by drinking alcohol until he visited VA and found healthy ways to cope."

Well I'll be.. sexual urge lumped in with racial discrimination in a so-called ad for the VA. Slick trickery, there Uncle Sam.
