Answer:
Why do I have a yahoo email account?
Well, way back when I was still a newbie on the net, I thought that an email address was a real indicator of who you were. And I certainly knew I didn't want my ISP-issued email address. So after many hours of searching for "cool email addresses" I arrived at pulp-fiction.com. I was soon mrorange@pulp-fiction.com (or something like that, anyway) However, the service sucked. adverts, spam, slowness, and general crappiness. So then I found email.com, and became h.yeend@email.com, which looked so professional I even had it on my C.V. But their service was even worse. So I searched around for comparisions. Seeing that hotmail offered the best service (at the time) I had a look. It was owned by microsoft. So I signed up on Yahoo!, who gave me a whopping 6Mb storage. And there I have stayed ever since. Occasionally switching to talk21, who offered free text alerts of emails, or plus.net, who offered POP access. But my yahoo account has remained the one I can rely on. Soon, new features like spam protection appeared, and although they've now dropped the storage to 4mb, my account is still 6mb, because it's so old. So for that, I am grateful. In short, I choose yahoo by chance, and they never let me down.

Apologies for an utterly boring answer, but, fuck it, I'm lazy.
