incongruousness
notme the lines didn't seem to fit

anything everywhere
everything anywhere

it all appeared equal

collapsing
boxed

encircled
escaping

stillborn
living
breathless

each
vital
sense

an arrow pointing
declaring existence

such strange symptoms
nightmarish windsongs

visions ringing
ears grinding teeth

an incoherent mess
a jumble of beauty

yuckiness

nothingness

why couldn't it
be why would
it should

everything is

broken
unbroken

zodiacal

anomalous

epitome of incomprehensibility Nice. The incongruities I usually encounter are far more prosaic... although sometimes funny, like a discussion of Twilight in a Chaucer class:

Student 1: *something about Troilus' lack of free will (in Chaucer's poem Troilus and Criseyde) if destiny is factored in*

Student 2, loudly: But can't the choices you make affect your destiny? It's like the characters in Twilight... the choices they make affect their destiny...

Prof: (with an amused smile and an air of hauteur) I have not read Twilight.

(Snobbery! E_o_i feels a little sorry for her.)

Student 2: I just figured that people hear would have read it, since there are mostly girls in our class.

(Worse! Presumption! E_o_i now feels sorry for the prof.)
