pete I feel bad for the man. He had a 24 of Lakeport Honey Lager (a buck a beer as the commerical goes) and something in an LCBO bag. Someone was playing a creul trick on him or didn't know where they lived.

Someone knocked on my door. "Just a minute!" Its warm, I need to put something more on to be presentable to the possibility of one of the building's staff wanting to talk to me, or one of my neighbours for that matter.

The man puts down his 24 and bottle of liquer as I open the door. "That'll be 55.45 please." I look behind me at the booze I bought yesterday. A 26er of white rum for me. A bottle of Rosé for my girlfriend. A six pack of Muskoka Cream because its from near where I am and is delicious (and on sale at the Beerstore this week!). And a 26er of nice Scotch for two of my good friends and exroomates who turned 21 recently (with the joint celebration being tonight).

Why would I dial a bottle?

Why would anyone dial a bottle before 2pm on a Saturday? It's not like it's Canada day or anything....

The poor guy had to lug his booze, running, to catch a closing elevator while trying to get ahold of a dispatcher to figure out what went wrong...
