i've experienced both...they both suck. hard. but liking someone that is wrong for you usually brings on a more intense hurt cause of the wrongness. but the not liking someone that is right for you has this 'if only i could' wistfulness about it.

amy i almost always go for the latter, even though i can't take or won't be able to afford what is in store... and the first scenario I'll use to fuel my guilty conscience. they both suck, but they both seem like necessary evils until the right person comes along and then you (or I)'ll be all ready to welcome somebody unneurotically. i try to remind myself, time spent on romance is never time wasted, but I'm sort of lieing to myself about that. gotta be optimistic. 080406
