This is going to sound silly and Star Trekish, but Paul Atreides from Dune. Now this isn't an obsession of mine, I haven't read any of the books in years and I don't go to conventions or have a collection of memorabilia or anything like that, but for some strange reason there are parallels to be drawn that are just too glaringly obvious for me to ignore.
I won't go into all of the coincidus, let it suffice to say that our neighbor's dog hasn't been seen since about a week after we had the sand and the retention fencing installed in the back yard. (I won't even let the kids out there unless they bring a good thumper with em.)
The spice must flow!
