erin I am not one of those
who wanes with the moon
but you are gone

my time yet to come
to find the whole people

here a full moon
bathing the night in deep silver

the sky around your paper moon is void

i sleep
colors dance on my bed
cracking open the silent black

erin when i read my ex-man (re: morning) this poem, he asked if he was a whole person to me. he's not. i lied and said he was, and felt sick about it for awhile. i was talking to dan (re: eurotrash) about it and we came up with the perfect answer to hard questions like that: 'why else would i be with you?'

the only problem with that question is that it begs to be answered.
