this tea is very very good. we do alot of tea as well. i think its second after coffee, so yeah. uhm. tea is drunk pretty much everywhere, at any time, for any occasion. the one i have is different from most, because it hasnt been processed at all. its only been dried, so you could say its as pure as it gets. the only people who can get it are tea farmers, and luckily my grandparents are. tazo? dont know.

In the area where my family is from, thats what everyone does. It doesnt matter if you move to the city or somewhere else, you always have a little plot of land where you grow tea. Its not as easy as it looks. You need to pick only a bud and two leaves, and when your surrounded by green plants, it all looks the same. But its amazing how fast they do it though. Its always nice when I go to visit. Especially because its such a hilly area, because you need that for tea. From far it looks like a patchwork quilt with different shades of green.

coolness. bud and two young leaves, ...yes... the tea i buy always mentions that in their adverts. from the pictures i've seen, it looks like very meticulous work. i'd probably get very tired after a while, but still, it looks fun...different than the usual green-bean-picking i do in summertime :)

It is very meticulous work. And we like to joke that you need really good eyesight as well to be able to tell the difference between all the leaves, but really I think its that most of these people have been doing it since they were little children. Green beans. Dont think Ive ever actually had green beans.

Apparently I make mine with too much milk. Strange, I had never really noticed. Then my sister made hers, and it was practically orange. Whereas mine is usually only a pale brown. Practically beige.

I have a preference for chrysanthemum and jasmine tea. I remember drinking chrysanthemum tea with my parents at Sunday brunch and I'd always stare at the bottom of the tea pot where the flowers lay. (Yes the actual flowers were in there!) It always appeared as though I had my own little pond in the tea pot.

Hmm. Chrysanthemum and jasmine. Ive heard of tea with flowers but..interesting. Ive never really ventured outside my little hole. Herbal tea's always smell so much better than they actually taste, and outside that, I dont think Ive ever seen any others. Now I want to try some.

I saw a boy on the train, standing in the middle and holding a box of tea. he seemed to exist only for the purpose of taking the tea from the place where he got it to the place where he was going. it was some sort of healing tea, and I imagined his girlfriend was sick in Chelsea and she really wanted this specific tea, even though they didn't have it at the supermarket around the corner or the tea store up the way. she begged him to go out to brooklyn to get it where she knew they sold it at a store she used to live above. so, being the good boyfriend that he was, he went to brooklyn, got the tea, and got back on the train to head home. when he sat down next to me I asked him, "Where are you going with that tea?" He was a little suprised I had spoken, but answered "I'm just going to work." It was for him to drink at his desk.

loved this tea story. i do that too, observe people in my vincinity and conjure up scenarios of their life. and like your character, mine usually aren't as dramatic in reality. i thought it was cool that you asked him where he was going with the tea. it must have been exciting waiting for his answer.

I've been wanting the Celestial Seasonings Herbal tea (Berry Flavour) for ages now, and I dont know why I dont just go to the herbal/organic type shop and get it there. They dont seem to have it anywhere else (except for that one occasion), and yet I just dont. Instead I keep buying other stuff, which just isnt what I want. We ran out of proper tea a while ago. I didnt bring any real stuff from home this summer because my sister hijacked it all! Still have a packet of teabags though. Blegh. Now I have to finish this packet (Rooibos with Honey Flavour) before I can buy another one. I think I'll leave this one to my mum.

i have traded coffee for tea in almost every scenario possible. it has been maybe months since i have had coffee. and i don't miss it. i am still getting caffeine, even though not as much, it still calms the adhd a bit. and is maybe better in smaller doses for my brain. i still need to add more water to my day, though.

it's the smell that always gets me. even if there's no perceptible flavour to the tributary pulsing through my body, give me something pretty for my olfactory nerves to make a meal out of and i'll be sated for a century (give or take a decade).

that's a tough one! i've always loved green tea and earl grey. and a friend once gave me this strawberry chocolate black tea that was so magical, i drank some when i had a brutal sinus infection, and for the better part of two hours all my symptoms pretty much vanished. if i had to pick just one, though, it would probably be the peach blossom tea they make at this local cafe i used to be a regular at. drinking that stuff always felt like filling up with life. how about you?

in true adhd fashion, it sort of depends on the day, my mood, the weather, etc... and even then i am not sure i could narrow it down to 1. but in this moment in time, i would have to go with jasmine green tea. a close second would be a black / green blend with citrus peels.

today i had an avocado milk tea with boba and cheese foam. and as unappealing as that sounds, it was sheer magic and has elevated bubble tea to a whole new level.
