someone recently made a music video for a song i recorded a few years back. i think it's pretty neat. and since this isn't something that's likely to happen again, i figure i might as well share. so, for anyone who may be interested: http://vimeo.com/44869890 it's not a glossy high-budget video by any means, but that's one of the things i enjoy about it. i like the rawness and the feeling of spontaneity it has, the way time lapse photography almost creates the impression of stop-motion animation with people in place of figurines, and the complete absence of any artificial lighting short of what was available naturally in the room at the time. it's not quite as lighthearted as it might seem on the surface; there's a pretty tangled back story involved, about what the song really means, and how the video plays off of that. but that's...tangled. and thorny. one thing --- i strongly suggest watching it with google chrome as your browser. at least on my end, firefox has been a sluggish piece of shit ever since the latest flash update, and the resulting latency makes most videos basically unwatchable (especially something with as much kinetic movement as this one). i haven't found any such problems with chrome. anyway, there you go. and back to my cave i go. take care.
