beyond_wonder
daf Lia,

I have seen the rings of Saturn
Looked beyond the Milky Way
Beheld of child and mother
hand in hand on autumn days
set sail upon a sapphire's swells
recall that ocean's blue
climbed many mighty minarets
drunk in their endless views
I've slept the sleep
of poets' dreams
in meadows in the spring
felt the oneness
crowned with lotus
that's eluded mighty kings
it's said aurora borealis
fain would find me breathless too
but I can't imagine
any wonder
lovelier than you.

I would place a sail
upon my heart
and send it fast away
in the hope that in its travels
it might come to you some day
and in the blessings of that harbor
where your eyes outshines the sun
whisper tenderly of all the things
a glimpse of you's outdone.

May it find the way.

You'll ever be the most treasured thing my eyes have seen.
