you asked me if i had a soul.. i said no at first, but i'm not sure right now, i'm still in the process of deciding on what i believe.. i do however know that i have a spirit. and i believe that a spirit is much stronger than a soul. i believe that you have a spirit too, that we all do. and not only do i believe that you and i have spirits, but that ours have become one and the same. making our love stronger than that of just soulmates.

My first reaction to your posting was the question, "What difference between the spirit and the soul?". I understood them to be the one and the same. SOUL: the immaterial essence, animating principle, or actuating cause of an individual life. SPIRIT: an animating or vital principle held to give life to physical organisms. A careful read and you will see that these two definitions (Websters) are essentially the same. If, as you say, you do have a spirit, now you know you do have a soul as well. Now that your soul is 'out of the closet', what will you do? ;-) ³
