brownbag past i went to the liquor store today to buy some beer. you see they carry beer there that the beer store doesn't, mostly in tall boy format and i had a hankering for that beer i bought last weekend to drink with my good friend and his girlfriend over ribs and corn and ufc. a nice dark german beer, 7% alcohol content, about two bucks for 500mils. all in all it is more economical by volume/alcohol content than most of the bargain beer i could have picked up next door at the beer store. when i went to the cash and paid rather than getting one of those sturdy, almost infinitely reusable plastic bags the lcbo used to carry, they put my beer in to a nice big brown paper bag. for one reason or another i was thrilled to walk down the street with a paper bag full of beer. small smiles, i guess, are all i seem to find these days. but, at least today, they seem to be in abundance. 080815 what's it to you? who go blather from
