hell_worlds
pete i've slipped from one circles of friends to another over the past few weeks. it's how i am, fitting in a number of niches good friends with a few people in different orbits and able to travel between them at will. one thing this changed social context has made me realize is the truth in certain turns of phrases. for example: 'one lives in a hell-world of their own creation'. those whom i've spent most of my time with over the past six months or so live in a surge of negativity, quicker to point out faults than to celebrate successes to such an extent that they can draw down the tone of a room. it took slipping into their mode while with others in with more positive and constructive outlooks to realize the danger and poison of the former 'dominant group' (not that they aren't good people)... the night light and breathe of social air has made this brighter world not so depressing anymore... 070109
