bass_face
no reason when a bass player is just groovin' and it shows on his/her face. usually there is movement (though minimal) involved.
makes me a little warm inside.

? how about the singer though? 070219

no reason singers' faces are good too, and usually more expressive.
i just like the "groovin'" bass player look. there's no better way to describe it.

'he had a sex face when he played the bass'

the standup bass players are hottest to me. i think it's because they look like they are coaxing the notes out of a woman.

unhinged pheromones (sp?)

jazz bass players have this face especially, i've noticed. seeing gary at the jazz club on the southside, the bass player he was playing with that night made the same kind of faces.

or gary karr (sp?) playing in convo at ysu; the performance piece 'the last string bass in las_vegas'. he had a monologue while he was playing and at one point twirled the bass toward him and talked to it like it was a woman. yeah, ever since then, i really couldn't get the image of the bass as a woman out of my head.
