unhinged hahaha

it's daring for me because i had only read some reviews in vaguely remembered places that made it seem like a good idea while i was at the record store. i usually don't spend money on albums i haven't heard at all.

now_now I love feist

is not quite as
innovative
as
let_it_die
but
there's no denying
she makes some
beautiful
music

there's also an album called
open_season
that is full of
remixes
&
different artists'
interpretation
of
let_it_die
it's worth a listen

Raze, what kind of a turntable do you have?
100323
...
raze i have an old thorens TD-166, which is not the sexiest turntable around, but it seems to do the job well for me. plus it's belt-driven, and i get all giggly during those first few seconds when the pitch ramps up from slow-motion, as the record gets up to speed. i kind of feel like i'm five again. "hee! it sounds funny!" 100323

silentbob I went to Seattle and rooted through the .99 bin at Easy Street Records. There I bought the following:

that dog. that dog.
Lois - infinity plus
Weston - The Massed Albert Sounds
Singles Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
Gin Blossoms - New Miserable Experience
Ryan Adams - Rock N' Roll

I think I'm definitely missing some.
But, I also bought All Things Must Pass in a tattered old record case at Laurie's in Chicago.

I actually don't buy a lot of music anymore because I volunteer for a radio station and get a lot of free music that way. It's basically a sin.
