album
raze if you go from releasing a new album every four months or so for a few years in a row, to then having a year in which you don't officially release anything, apparently this renders you "formerly prolific" and something of a footnote. or so the arts editor of a university newspaper would have it. this is a guy who's released exactly two songs in the last ten years. those who can't do spend their time talking about others who can and do, right?

maybe this is good fuel. something i can use to motivate myself to get off my ass and finish this ambitious thing i've been a little lazy with lately, so i can hand it to him come springtime and say, "although i'm no longer prolific, here's five hours of new music on one album, spread out over four discs. say...where's *your* new album, pal?"
