raze here's how little sense this_city makes: instead of spending some of their ill-gotten gains repaving ruined roads or housing the homeless, they funnel millions of dollars into replacing playgrounds that were perfectly fine the way they were, erecting garish props no child in their right mind would want to touch. now they've given us the ugliest green bins i've ever seen as part of an organic food waste disposal program they aren't implementing until the end of the year, when the new company they've hired to collect our garbage can't go one week without retracing their steps to seize what they missed during their first sweep of any given street. it took everything i had not to step outside and say to the smiling sycophant who dropped the hideous thing in our driveway, "take it back. tell the people who paid you we don't want their useless piece of plastic with cheap wheels for feet. they can stash it in the same spot all their empty promises crawled to curl up and die." 250806
