beating_back_the_jungle dafremen dated December 7, 2015: To march into the future, we'd better figure out what we're going to do about all of the people being put out of work. We need to make sure people aren't locked out of the ability to feed themselves and to be in control of their own destinies (or at least have a fair shake at it.) We need a new way of thinking about society and what constitutes valuable contribution. Money cannot continue to be the litmus test of a person's value to society. It was always a piss poor indicator at best. Just look at all of the people of low, selfish, greedy character who have piles of money. The experiment was a success on some fronts and an abysmal failure on so many others.
