I responded to her and have been trying to help her through some of it, but she is agonizingly "girl-dumb" and has no idea how some of her comments are totally insulting. Por_ejemplo, she says she is happy that there is no way that he is happy. So I say, yeah he has a giant hole he doesn't know the right way to fill and until he finds a positive thing to fill it with he'll never be happy. My original text was going to assert that not even his sweet, pure, awesome daughter is enough to fill the hole for him, but I took that out because I thought it was selfish.
