It used to be so easy, that we did grow complacent, my love. The rules were simple, easily understood. i understood my role perfectly and you were so flawless in yours. We preformed to a script, every night and every day. Ever flowing, always changing, but it was perpetually a script. But now, now, my love our roles are changing. We both have been transformed into something else, strangers connected by common memories. But the memories are fading, my love, and the script has been lost as we fumble our way across uncharted mountains. Unknown, my love all is unknown. No longer do we know how to react to each other, no longer do we know what to do. We walk on eggshells, my love circling around each other. Unsure, anymore, of the next move even unsure if there is a next move. No longer are we playing a familiar game. It used to be so easy, my love. And i lie in bed every night, awake until the dawn, wondering whether we will survive the change.
