valentines_day Q I hope for you that every day is an happy valentine's. 080214 ... unhinged i got a valentine from luca yesterday. luca is five. he was very excited to surprise me with it. it was a cars valentine. i told him i had never seen the movie and he invited me over his house to watch it. chances are it's the only valentine i'll get this year, but it was a cute one. it made me smile, dimples and all. 080214 ... raze well the last time i had a valentine i could see on the day they were my valentine was never, but now i'm surrounded by things with pages, things with stories to tell me, and they're not people but they can be my valentines, so i'll have more than one, and i'll make a sandwich and do a little dance. 140214 ... But I want to know how to characterize a recurring fling; surely that's long-term in some sense? But when someone I was emailing for a German-class project wrote "Frohen Valentinstag," I passed along that greeting in my email to David. On my way out of class, I bought my brother a robot-shaped alarm clock robot made by someone in Concordia's engineering department. To Mom I gave a chocolate rose, quoting something one of her kindergarten students said to her years ago: "I dreamed I gave you a flower! And it was EVEN a rose!"
