so you walk in and there's a long, airy hallway and on each side, there are windows and behind each of the windows, there are people all sorts of people behind one of them, you see people's faces in a movie theatre, transfixed by a screen a pretty girl lying on her bed, talking on the phone someone sitting at a computer, surfing porn they seem to look right past you, if at all lying in a field at night, staring at the stars someone sneezing in a library a boy standing in a screaming crowd, at a concert, with his eyes closed you see somebody dying alone in a hospital among others in a war the occasional empty room and someone walking down a long, airy hallway, looking inquisitively through a window
