But, as the night wore on, only the kids were still outside, doing anything and everything they pleased with no supervision. The parents, however, were tucked into basement rec rooms with the doors locked. I saw a few half-naked parents wandering out in the arms of someone else's spouse, holding cocktails and singing as they headed to another house for carnal pleasures.
