But there is neither anything, necessarily, which would PROMPT a person to ignore something that he/she does not like/appreciate or with which he/she does not agree. If somebody does not like blatherreality, sure, there is not one thing that is preventing her/him from ignoring blather completely,...nor is there anything preventing her/him from publicly debating that blatherreality, or making weird faces at that blatherreality, or practicing voodoo on that blatherreality, or, in fact, outright hardkickingtotheshin that blatherreality with all the disagreement and conflicting opinions one can muster.
