one of my favorite things! it's a flower_vegetable! how cool is that!? I felt so cool eating them as a little kid... scraping the meat off the petals with my teeth and de fuzzing the heart with a spoon or my thumbs... probably the most visciously eaten veggie there is... ripped apart petal by petal, each to be skinned then its heart ripped out, scraped, and eaten... geeeez. are they veggies? hm. made some tonight with coconut oil/garlic/sage to dip in.
