I did not recognize their names, Their words were unfamiliar, how comforting to find that you're still here. Do I miss this?

i gave it the old college try. i did manage to write some things there that i liked, that i felt maybe went some way toward redeeming the silliness of old. but now i'm wondering why i didn't just put those things here instead. my words still feel safer in red, even if there's no one around to read them, and the inspiration has stopped carrying over to that sphere. besides, blue doesn't appear to need the help anymore.

...Oh, I see. But I'll be contrary and say it is pretty, in a visual sense. The numbers running down the page look like one of those triangular flag pendants, even if there's some angry guy writing random things. (Puts on critical glasses and pronounces: It's art, but it sure ain't literature.) Or maybe it is? Eh, what the hell do I know.

i guess the part that's not so pretty to me is that someone has admitted they're taking their anger out on blather in doing this and intentionally trying to deface it in some small way. but i dig how at this has happened so many times already, people just ignore it now until it goes away.

*Puts on critical glasses* That's not blues, that's slam poetry! Wrong genre. *Puts on meta-critical glasses* Well, e_o_i, I don't see you trying to write anything poetic. Lazy bastard. (The multiple layers of glasses eventually start arguing with each other. Eventually, none of them will look at each other, and so they collapse into quantum uncertainty.)

okay then! woke up this morning those blue blather blues were gone said i woke up this morning and those blue blather blues were gone you see, a troll only lasts a day now unless they're camping out on your front lawn and when they get to camping out well, that's just a crying shame lord, when trolls get to camping out you know it's gonna be a crying shame oh, blather_don't_be_slow now or i'll scream out my baptismal name (harmonica solo)

Very good! My critical glasses would applaud, except they destroyed themselves in a scientifically dubious way. Besides, glasses don't have hands.

i never really thought i'd see the day where it would become the spot for covid conspiracy theories and anti-vax/anti-mask/anti-empathy for others/anti-any awareness of actual scientific fact, but... here we are. hello there, red. you're looking extra good these days.

Belated correction: MY glasses don't have hands. I can't speak for others. Trying to do that has landed me in hot water lately, and then I feel obligated to shampoo my hair while I'm at it. As for blather blue...well, I don't need it anymore to bring out my silly side. (Except when I do.)

Hm, so I was serious today. But it was riffing off of a silly metaphor. It's the anonymous-post person I object to, who right now is only confirming my suspicion that *some* conspiracy theories (though not all) lead to prejudice, or at least provide an opening for it.
