raze rabbits, and avocados, and music, oh my. the_red_thread is real, and it's got the tensile strength of the thickest three-strand rope around. 211231

raze talking about the greatness of the tragically hip song "bobcaygeon" with a loved one this morning, and then coming back from a walk to find past had written a beautiful blathe referencing that very song, reminding us there's no buffer between art and lived experience if our eyes and ears are open. 220804

raze hearing the fleetwood mac song "oh_well" for the very first time and then hitting "go" and landing on a blathe where someone (my gut says it was birdmad incognito) posted some of the lyrics twenty-two years ago. 230926

raze hitting "go" (again) and being brought to "granted". then clicking a second time and getting "peyton_smile_everything_is_clean_kaleidoscopic_and", which reads like a direct response to the first blathe. 231217

nr today i took tylenol_3 for the first time in over 20 years. i have been researching it all evening to make sure i'm taking it safely. i felt i'd learned what i needed, and jumped over to the blather_red homepage. the first word in the three_words? tylenol_3. 231222

raze remembering a random high_school conversation that ended with the word "kablam_o" more than twenty_years_ago, and then landing on that very blathe.

raze many moons ago, in an email, i told nr about les blank's short-form documentary "werner_herzog_eats_his_shoe", in which our man werner does what the title promises as a way of making good on a (possibly apocryphal) bet he made with errol morris in an effort to encourage him to finish his film "gates of heaven".

today a blathe was written with that title, and for half a second i thought, "i didn't write that. did i?"

(i didn't. warmthofrelease did.)

if anyone's wondering, werner_herzog only ate *most* of his shoe. he didn't eat the sole. as he explained: "one does not eat the bones of the chicken."

raze calling one of my squirrel friends mercurial and thinking, "that's such a great word. i probably haven't thought of it, let alone spoken it, in at least ten years. i need to keep it in my pocket." and on the same day, watching that word become a brave_new_blathe. 240404
