karasu i plead guilty

half-assed attempt, i mishandled the nori which came out disturbingly chewy, i just barely got the rice to come out with the right texture, even though it isn't technically the right kind of rice, and i forgot the wasabi.

the mixture of flavored varieties of tuna worked well enough though. (i don't know the process well enough to attempt sashimi or anything raw)

minnesota_chris try again. Some people like to let the sushi rice cool before rolling. I haven't had a problem with it though. 040623

minnesota_chris oh, and get the right rice, and wasabi. I think any semi-sticky Asian rice is fine, I use Kokuho. 040623

rubydee and a su of rice vinegar and sugar sprinkled and paddled throughout as it cools works wonders. 040624

one wrecked angle it wasn't the attempted sushi that brought me to the edge, and it probably wasn't even the nudge over; it just happened to be standing by when i went. i pounded my fist upon the brown laminate top of the cheaply made chinese table, there in our beijing apartment. everything spilled, not the food, the crumbly pieces of a broken self. a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. 040624
